Seafarers certificates

Indian or any other FlagSeafarers certificates are obtained through endorsement of a valid Certificate complying with the 2010 Amendments of the STCW 78 Convention and issued by a White List country. Those countries are certified in compliance with the STCW 78/2010 Amendment and featured in the IMO's White List. Nationals of a White List country shall seek direct endorsement of their home Country license, while residents will have to demonstrate additionally that they were trained in a Maritime Institute recognized by the maritime administration of a White List country.
To obtain SeamanIdenity Document or CDC or COCCertificate is a straightforward process, which begins by filling a simple application form provided by our maritime authority. Please note that original forms are required and the Photocopies are not accepted.

Upon reception of the completed application form accompanied by the supporting documents (see checklists below), the appointed examination Authorities will provide applicants with a Certificate of Receipt of Application (CRA) allowing them to work aboard a Indian or any other FOC Flag Flag vessel, for a period of three months.
Within that timeframe, the supporting documentation shall be submitted to a Regional head quarter or to the head quarter of the SeamanIdenity Document or CDC or COCin charge of issuing Permanent Certificates valid for 5 years.

It must be noted that Certificates of Receipt of Application (CRA) is not renewable. Their validity is strictly limited to three months. Therefore the role of Maritime Examination authorities - primarily responsible for reviewing all documentation - cannot be underestimated. Deficient documentation is systematically returned to the Appointed Examination Authorities by the Regional headquarter or from the Head quarter and represents a leading cause of delay.

Our Seafarer Certification team of specialists enjoys a consistently high satisfaction rate and receives applications from all parts of the world. The permanent Certificates are issued promptly if the documents found in order and as per eligibility criteria following a careful review of all records, and are mailed and faxed within 1 -3 days to the applicants or Maritime Examination Authorities to ensure delivery as quickly as possible.
